Talu Games is a one-person independent game studio. In this policy, “Talu Games”, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to the independent developer publishing under that name. This policy explains how personal information is handled through our website and the mobile games that link to it, together referred to as our “Services”.
Personal information means information that identifies you or can reasonably be linked to you. The information involved depends on the game, its features, your device and your privacy choices. Not every feature described below is available in every game.
2. Information we collect
Information you provide
When you contact us, we receive your email address, the content of your message and any information or attachments you choose to provide. We use these details to respond to your enquiry.
Device and usage information
Our games and integrated service providers may process technical and usage information, such as device model, operating system, app version, language, IP address, approximate location derived from IP address, app-instance or device identifiers, session activity and gameplay events. The information processed depends on the services enabled in the game and their configuration.
Saved game information
Games may store progress, in-game resources, preferences and settings on your device. Cargo Swap uses local storage for these purposes. Device backup settings may affect whether copies are retained elsewhere.
Advertising and purchases
If a game includes advertising, its advertising providers may process advertising identifiers, ad interactions and technical information to deliver and measure ads, and to personalize them where permitted. If a game offers in-app purchases, the app store processes payment details; transaction records or purchase receipts may be used to deliver and restore purchased content. These descriptions apply only where the relevant feature is offered.
3. How we use information
Depending on the Services you use, information is processed to:
- Operate games, remember settings and maintain progress.
- Understand gameplay, investigate technical issues and improve performance.
- Respond to support enquiries and privacy requests.
- Deliver and measure advertisements where a game includes ads.
- Provide and verify purchases where a game offers them.
- Protect the Services against misuse and meet applicable legal obligations.
Where applicable law requires a legal basis, processing may rely on providing a service you request, complying with legal obligations, legitimate interests in operating and improving the Services where those interests are not overridden by your rights, or your consent. Where consent is required, it must be obtained separately; this policy does not itself constitute consent.
4. Service providers and sharing
Information may be processed by providers supporting hosting, email, analytics and, where available, advertising or purchases. Providers receive information relevant to the services they perform. We may also disclose information where legally required or necessary to establish or defend legal rights.
Cargo Swap includes ByteBrew for analytics-related functionality. Processing depends on the SDK features and configuration enabled in the game. See the ByteBrew Privacy Policy.
Cargo Swap also connects to a Google endpoint to check internet connectivity. Like other network requests, this can disclose an IP address and request information to the receiving service. See the Google Privacy Policy.
External websites, app stores and other third-party services have their own privacy practices. Please review their notices when using those services. Additional integrations will be reflected in this policy when introduced.
6. Retention and deletion
Personal information is retained for as long as needed for the purpose for which it was collected, including responding to enquiries, operating the relevant service, resolving disputes and meeting applicable legal obligations. The appropriate period depends on the type of information, the service involved and any legal requirements. Service-provider retention also depends on the relevant service and configuration.
You can request deletion of personal information by contacting us. Information may need to be retained where required by law or necessary to handle a legal claim. Deleting app storage may erase locally saved progress; removing an app does not by itself request deletion of information held by online service providers.
7. Security and international processing
We take reasonable steps to protect personal information against unauthorized access, alteration or loss. However, no internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure.
Service providers may process information in countries other than your country of residence, where data protection laws may differ. Where applicable law requires safeguards for international transfers, appropriate safeguards are required, such as recognized contractual protections or an applicable adequacy decision.
8. Children’s privacy
Our Services are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe a child has provided personal information through our Services, contact us so we can investigate and take appropriate steps, including deletion where required. Where local law requires a higher age for consent, those requirements apply.
9. Your choices and rights
Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have rights to access, correct or delete personal information, restrict or object to processing, receive a portable copy, and withdraw consent where processing relies on it. You can manage available app permissions and advertising preferences through your device settings, and use any privacy options offered within the game. Available controls vary by device and game. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing that was lawful before withdrawal.
To exercise your rights, email us with the game name and a description of your request. We may request information reasonably necessary to verify your request and locate the relevant records.

We may update this policy when our Services or privacy practices change. The date above shows the latest revision. Where required, significant changes will be communicated through the relevant game or another appropriate notice.
